What is Systems Management?

The Central Procurement Office's Systems Management team began life as the "Content Group" as the initial priority of the team in the early days of Edison was maintaining the item master catalog which, in Edison terms was, referred to as "content." As the years have passed, the team's scope has grown to encompass the item catalog, Edison FSCM Procurement module process support, website administration, user acceptance testing, and more. Systems Management is a service-oriented team that endeavors to provide support to State Agencies' Procurement Divisions in their efforts to provide the citizens of Tennessee the best possible service at the lowest possible cost.

The team's email is Content group email id, and the team is known as both Systems Management and the Content Group, interchangeably.
